Petzl Ascenders - B17N
Designed for ascending fixed single ropes from 8 to 13 mm. Ergonomically designed handle for maximum grip for the hand.
Handle grip angle is aligned with the direction of pull /push.
Ascender body is aluminum alloy for minimum weight.
Elastomeric protective sleeve improves grip and provides thermal insulation.
Chrome Steel Toothed Cam for optimal hold and sliding up the rope, whatever the rope's condition.
Self-cleaning slot in the cam for evacuation of obstructive material (mud, ice) coating the rope.
Ergonomic notched spring-loaded nylon Catch Lever allows the cam to be held in the open position.
Cam Catch Lever allows installation onto, or removal from the rope with one hand.
2 lower holes for the attachment of a footloop/s or lanyards.
2 upper holes for carabiner clipping around rope facilitates sliding up when used for self-belay or in haul system.
